  • August 3, 2017: TheLedger – Saltwater Fishing Report Mangrove Snapper Best Bet.

It appears that the mangrove snapper bite is hot in most of the key areas. Offshore, inshore artificial, beach piers and hard bottom ledges in the bay. While keeper trout are scarce, there are plenty of under-sized gag grouper biting on hard bottom ledges and drop-offs in the bay. Also the catch and release snook bite is good from the northern end to the southern end of the area.

Get some live whitebait and greenbacks for the best chances.
